Summary
Condensation of non-azeotropic mixtures inside smooth horizontal pipes was analyzed with a theoretical approach along with an experimental approach. In a bibliographic study physical models for mixture-only calculation were found. This step was followed by numerical modelling of the described methods. Calculations for the simulation, were validated by appropriate experimentation. The correlation of theoretical and experimental results is satisfactory. One of the theories used (film theory) permits a more accurate prediction of experimental results.
