Summary

A THEORETICAL STUDY WAS MADE OF HEAT FLOW DENSITY LENGTHWISE AND CROSSWISE WITH GRAVITATIONAL LAMINAR AND TURBULENT FLUID FLOW IN HORIZONTAL CAVITIES OF DIFFERENT GEOMETRICAL FORMS (TWO-DIMENSIONAL CAVITY, CYLINDRICAL AND RING PIPES), WHICH HAVE A VARIABLE LONGITUDINAL TEMPERATURE GRADIENT ALONG THE WALL. THE ESTABLISHED FORMULAS ARE COMPARED WITH REPORTED DATA FOR A PARTICULAR CASE OF LAMINAR FLOW AND CONSTANT LONGITUDINAL TEMPERATURE GRADIENT.
