Describes a simplified dynamic thermal model of a hollow core concrete slab thermal storage system and associated room. Discusses the increase in convective heat transfer at the corners of the ventilation cores. Finds that for normal cyclic operation, the simulated mass and zone temperatures are both in phase with measured performance data.
