Achieving cost savings and environmental benefits through helium recovery strategies.
Author(s) : SABO J. R., SCHULTE T. R.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The paper describes how helium recovery technology can substantially reduce operating costs for helium users and also contribute to the conservation of this unique and non-renewable resource. This can be of particular benefit to industries using CFCs for leak detection, since these compounds are required to be phased out. Metals processors and optical fiber manufacturers can also benefit by incorporating helium recovery into their operations. J.V.
