Summary

These proceedings contain 5 papers (3 in Dutch, 2 in French) of the Acoustic Day, held in Bussels, Belgium, April 15, 1999. The aim of this study and knowledge-providing day was to clearly explain (with use of practical examples) regulations on noise and vibration in three Belgian regions. These proceedings explain what permits are required and where to obtain them. Possible problems and risks, as well as practical solutions, are discussed. Some of the papers will be abstracted in a future issue of the IIR Bulletin.
