Acoustic regulations in 2000: what's new?
Réglementation acoustique : les changements de l'an 2000.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Regulations on noise had already changed in 1994 and 1995, and came into force in January 1996. Harmonization of European standards means that new calculation methods have to be used in order to determine the acoustic-quality index of a building. New regulatory measures thus need to be applied to all operations for which a building permit is requested as of January 1, 2000.
