Acoustic testing of a range of fans to BS848. Part 2: 1985.
Author(s) : HARRIES G. W., LACK C. W.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The acoustic spectrum of a fan is a function of several parameters of construction, size and speed. Measurements taken over a range of similar fans can be analysed and presented so as to predict accurately the sound spectra of other fans within the same range. The information gained and illustrated in these test results has shown further ways to improve the data presentation. A.R.T.
