IIR document
Advanced absorption technology for energy saving and environmental protection.
Author(s) : ALEFELD G., et al.
Summary
Large potentials for energy saving and environmental protection exist in the areas of combined heat and power, combined refrigeration and power and combined heat and refrigeration. A report is given on the development of advanced absorption technology for this purpose. Cycles for either high COP or high temperature lift have been built. Also a short presentation of results on hybrid cycles combining compression and absorption technology is given.
