A REPORT FROM THE NORWEGIAN BUILDING RESEARCH INSTITUTE ON TESTS OVER 10 YEARS, SHOWING HOW THE THERMAL INSULATION PROPERTIES OF FOAMED POLYURETHANE DECLINE WITH AGE.UNTREATED SPECIMENS SHOWED AN INCREASE IN THE THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY OF 28% AFTER 10 YEARS. MATERIALS PROTECTED WITH ALUMINIUM AND METAL-TAPED EDGES HAD INCREASES OF LESS THAN 5%.
