Summary
The air-conditioning equipment for small boats introduced here is a typical one. This type of air-conditioning system can be applied in patrol boats, sightseeing boats, commuter boats, ferry boats and fishing boats. In every case, special factors such as vibration, rolling, pitching, salt window, limited installation space etc. shall be considered when air-conditioning equipment is designed for a particular type of boat. Further, it is necessary to develop new products reflecting new technology and to apply this technology to newly developed refrigerants (HFCs).
