Summary
An investigation has been carried out to understand better the technology of air curtains by a computer simulation, to validate this model using blown air, to develop performance criteria, to know the effect of parameter variations, to design an optimum air curtain. During this investigation, a new grille for air delivery has been developed and tested, and the achieved energy savings are described. J.L.
