Summary
THE AIR VELOCITIES CREATED BY VENTILATION SUPPLY GRILLES IN LIMITED OPEN SPACES CAN BE CALCULATED FROM A VERY SIMPLE MODEL. THIS MODEL CLEARLY SHOWS THAT THE INDUCTION OF THE SUPPLY AIR STREAM IS LIMITED. ALSO, AS DISCUSSED, THE AIR PATTERNS ARE INFLUENCED BY THE HEAT LOADS AND THE OBSTACLES WITHIN THE SPACE.
