Air quality: cutting by water jets.
Qualité de l'air : découpe par jet d'eau.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The advantages of cutting by water jets are presented. The cutting technique in a clean atmosphere has been established using the "Clean Kit", placing the installation in pressurised clean air and blasting 600 m3/hour of air 99,99% filtered for 0.3 micron particles. The controls applied to test the process are outlined: particle percentage with the system in or out of action, air flux and velocity, decontamination time. The results of this control are given.
