THE PAPER DESCRIBES THE REPLACEMENT OF FOURTEEN EVAPORATORS, WHICH SERVED TWO FREEZER ROOMS, BY FOUR PENTHOUSE UNITS AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PENTHOUSE OVER THE FREEZER ROOMS. THE ORIGINAL ELECTRIC DEFROSTING WAS REPLACED BY HOT GAS UTILISED FROM THE WASTE HEAT FROM THE COMPRESSORS. ENSUING ADVANTAGES ARE DESCRIBED. C.R.F.
