Reports on extensive measurements in office buildings in Goteborg and Malmo aimed at determining how buildings and their ventilation systems should be designed to provide the desired indoor environment. States that the indoor concentration of contaminants originating outdoors can be reduced considerably if the outdoor air flow rate is reduced temporarily during periods of high outdoor concentration.
