Ammonia in small systems. Investigation of the system and practical experience.

L'ammoniac dans les petites installations. Etude du système et expérience pratique.

Author(s) : NESJE O. M.

Type of article: Article

Summary

The paper investigates the problem of choice between a soluble and insoluble oil in ammonia for the construction of small systems. The conclusions are strictly personal to the author; it must be mentioned that the return principle by a deprimogeneous system (diaphragm) was already used in the 45's by the company "Société Brissonneau et Lotz" with Bernat compressors which used a lot of oil. It is indicated that the principles described by the author are more difficult to apply to circuits with more than one evaporator.
