Summary

A MICROSCOPIC MODEL OF FERROMAGNETIC METALLIC GLASS IS PROPOSED WHICH TREATS IT AS AN UNORDERED FERROMAGNET -THE OBJECT THAT IS INTERMEDIATE BETWEEN SATURATED FERROMAGNET AND SPIN GLASS. SPONTANEOUS MAGNETIZATION AND LONGITUDINAL MAGNETIC SUSCEPTIBILITY ARE FOUND AT ZERO TEMPERATURE,AND THE LAW OF MAGNETIZATION DECREASE WITH THE INCREASE IN TEMPERATURE IS DERIVED. THE MODEL MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO EXPLAIN THE EXPERIMENTAL PROPERTIES OF AMORPHOUS FERROMAGNETS THAT DISTINGUISH THEM FROM CRYSTALLINE FERROMAGNETS.
