An air-conditioning control method for building perimeter zone using measured skin-load.
Author(s) : CHEN X., KAMIMURA K., WATANABE T., NISHIYAMA N., TAKAHASHI J. I.
Summary
In office air-conditioning, the air-conditioning load in perimeter zones undergoes seasonal cooling-heating conversion, whereas the interior zone air-conditioning load is always set at cooling. The paper describes the principle of a new control method, called skin-load control, for perimeter zone air-conditioning. The radiation temperature sensor is a key component of the system. The paper underlines the importance of the convective heat transfer coefficient in skin-load control and explains how to identify it.
