Summary

Air-conditioning systems in the computer centres, mounted on the premises' false floor, must offer the possibility of adaptation to the various room shapes and layouts which may evolve. The air-conditioning cabinets are designed for false floor ventilation. A detailed technical description is given. It must be noted that all equipment has two refrigerating circuits and that the automated control cabinet allows the manual operation of the circuits if necessary. Regulation must meet certain considerations that are given. Dehumidifiers are described as well. In conclusion, it is said that the equipment currently used are not efficient and that the specifications should encourage energy savings. J.L.
