STATISTICS ARE GIVEN ON SWISS FROZEN-FOOD CONSUMPTION, WHICH ROSE 4.8% IN 1989, TO 21.8 KG PER PERSON. CONSUMPTION OF FRUIT AND FRUIT JUICES (BY 24.7%) AND PASTRIES (BY 13.2%) INCREASED THE MOST, WHILE MEAT CONSUMPTION FELL BY 8.4%.
