Summary

In order to increase the efficiency of an ejector refrigerator, a better understanding of the flow and the mixing through an ejector is needed. In the study, a 3 kW cooling capacity steam ejector refrigerator was constructed. The static pressure along the ejector axis at various operating conditions was measured and plotted. The analyzed experimental results introduced three new parameters. Using these data, the flow characteristic through the steam ejector can be clearly understood and explained.
