AN OBSERVATION ON THE THERAPEUTIC EFFECT OF CRYOTHERAPY TO MYCOTIC GRANULOMA.

Author(s) : ZHANG Z. Z.

Summary

TEN CASES OF MYCOTIC GRANUTOM CAUSED BY TRICHOPHYTON GYPSEUM WERE OBSERVED AND TREATED. THEIR CLINICAL FEATURES ARE THAT THE DISEASE COMES ON QUICKLY, THE FOCUS FREQUENTLY REOCCURS, THE INFLAMMATION REACTS SEVERELY AND THE INCIDENCE OF THE DISEASE HAS RISEN CONSIDERABLY IN RECENT YEARS. CRYOTHERAPY WAS ADOPTED AND THE RESULTS WERE SUCCESSFUL. ALL 10 PATIENTS WERE CURED WITHOUT ANY SIDE EFFECT. COMPARED WITH CONVENTIONAL THERAPY, CRYOTHERAPY MAY BE ADOPTED AS A NEW ATTEMPT.
