COMPUTERIZED AIR-DUCT SYSTEM DESIGN REQUIRES PRESSURE DROP OCC URRING WITHIN THE VARIOUS COMPONENTS OF THE DUCT SYSTEM, TO BE EXPRESSED ANALYTICALLY. HOWEVER, THE VALUES OF PRESSURE DROP ARE USUALLY AVAILABLE IN THE FORM OF EXPERIMENTAL VALUES, DIAGRAMS OR TABLES. IN THE STUDY, AN EFFORT IS MADE TO CONVERT THE ABOVE PRESSURE DROP INFORMATION TO ANALYTICAL FUNCTIONS, WHICH MAY BE DIRECTLY EMPLOYED IN COMPUTER PROGRAMS FOR AIR DUCT SYSTEM DESIGN.
