EASY METHOD TO SIMULATE VAV-AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM.
Author(s) : RANTANEN P. A.
Summary
VAV-AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM IS A GOOD SOLUTION IF ONE WANTS TO CONTROL INDOOR CONDITIONS WHEN THE HEAT LOADS ARE VARIABL BUT ALL VAV SYSTEMS HAVE THERE OWN LIMITS, WHICH DEPEND ON THE PERFORMANCE OF THE FAN, DUCT SIZES AND THE OPERATION RANGES OF ALL OTHER PARTS OF THE SYSTEM. WHEN THE AIR FLOWS VARY IN QUITE A LARGE RANGE, THERE CAN BE SITUATIONS WHEN PRESSURE DROPS OF SOME FLOW DAMPERS ARE OUTSIDE OF THEIR OPERATIONAL RANGE. THIS MEANS THAT THE AIR FLOWS ARE NOT CORRECT. ALSO INCREASING NOISE LEVELS ARE POSSIBLE.
