Summary

Using a kind of cryosurgery instrument, the end of cold poly, directly contacting the surface of pathological tissue, or inserting the cold poly into the pathological tissue to make ice spheres and damage the pathological cells, is the most widely used method in clinical medicine. According to the analysis of the radius of ice sphere generating from cryotherapy and the shape, size, surface temperature of the end of cold poly, the blood injection rate of the tissue near the ice sphere, the tissue metabolism of heat production rate, the heat conductivity of frozen and unfrozen tissue and other factors, and based on the relationships between the dimensionless variable, the dimensionless blood flow parameter and the dimensionless surface temperature of the end of cold polyt this article gives suitable simplified computational formulas and alignment charts for clinical application. According to clinical needed radius of ice sphere, we can choose an appropriate shape, size and surface temperature of the end of cold poly, or according to different shapes and sizes of ends of cold poly and their surface temperatures, the authors can calculate the possible radius of ice sphere. The aim is to further promote this cryotherapy that makes the skin surface distort without pain, bleeding, anaesthesia and scar contraction in clinical medicine.
