Animal facility ventilation air quality and quantity.

Author(s) : BESCH E. L.

Summary

In an animal facility, the principal uses of energy are HVAC systems, fans, energy pumps, and miscellaneous equipment. Of these, about 61% of the energy use may result from service water and HVAC systems. For all of these reasons, additional research is needed to determine the optimum ventilation air quality and quantity for animal facilities.
