Summary
The air separation plant KzhAzh-0,04 was investigated. During the separation process heat emission occurs that influences negatively the production process in frost-free season. The most heat emission is linked with the compaction process as a result of which compressible air is heated up to 180...230 °C. To refrigerate air after each stage of the compressor the double-pipe heat exchangers are placed, they are refrigerated using a refrigerating cooling tower.
