Summary
Airflow in a room is usually turbulent, with 3-D complicated vortex motions, and it is not easy to analyze and predict flow characteristics. Computational fluid dynamics based on a set of fundamental equations governing flow motion is a method of analyzing such a complicated 3-D room airflow, otherwise, a model experiment which utilizes a real, physical process can also be used.
