Summary

In this paper, the working principles of the digital scroll compressor and its application in VRV air-conditioning systems are introduced. This technology is compared with variable frequency technology. The problems that exist in practical digital scroll technology and new control theories and control techniques used in digital scroll VRV air-conditioning systems are analysed and discussed.
