Summary

Dynamic simulation is the best available method for the analysis of risks introduced by new designs and innovations. The dynamic tools used on the MLNG Tiga project provide capabilities that are far superior to what is available form traditional process simulators. For instance, the use of these dynamic tools can allow the plant to be debottlenecked during the design phase, increasing the effectiveness and productivity of the installed equipment. Additionally, the enhanced capabilities allow the designer to analyze margins of the sized equipment and to minimize the combined effect, thereby optimizing the owners' return on investment.
