Summary
The possibilities given by modern control methods to achieve energy savings and more constant product quality in refrigeration are illustrated with some examples. Illustration is given of how a knowledge based control in combination with a model identification adaptive system may lead to energy savings and constant product quality. The application of a predictive control system in refrigeration is also illustrated.
