Aspects of two-phase flow screw compressor modelling. 2. Friction between rotors.

Summary

These proceedings contain 138 papers of this 15th biennial conference, co-sponsored by the IIR and the US National Committee for the IIR (and held in parallel with the International Refrigeration Conference and the 4th IIR-Gustav Lorentzen Conference) at Purdue University, USA, July 25-28, 2000. Two additional papers from the 1998 conference have also been included. General themes: reciprocating piston compressors; centrifugal and other turbo compressors; rolling piston and rotary vane compressors; lubrication, bearings, sealing, new refrigerants; valves; automotive and other compressors; optimization, modelling, system considerations; noise control, vibrations, gas pulsations; scroll compressors; other compressors, applications; screw compressors. Most papers will be abstracted in a future issue of the IIR Bulletin.
