Summary
Thanks to this study, the authors elucidate certain aspects of the refrigerating plant, in particular: energy efficiency; refrigerant charge and the reduction of leakage; modification and recycling; life-cycle-related costs. Environmental parameters must be factored in when modifications to the analysis are to be introduced.
