THIS ARTICLE EXAMINES THE EFFECT OF THE LIGHT TRANSMISSION FAC TOR OF GLASS AND DESCRIBES THE ANALYTICAL PROCESS BASED ON A GRAPHICAL METHOD USED FOR CALCULATING THE DIRECT NATURAL LIGHTING UNDER CLOUDY CONDITIONS. FURTHERMORE,A NEW DIAGRAM MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO APPLY THIS GRAPHICAL METHOD TO A SKY WITH A UNIFORM BRIGHTNESS.
