Summary
An automated system was constructed for the on-line monitoring of the mixing of natural gas with liquefied petroleum gases under different temperature (10-45 deg C) and pressure (5-20 megapascals) regimes. The system was devised to overcome the problems associated with on-line sampling and gas chromatographic monitoring of mixtures from reactions of low-molecular-mass hydrocarbons under high pressure where phase changes can occur.
