Summary

THE AUTOMATIC MEASUREMENT AND CONTROL SYSTEM WAS PREPARED FOR THE LOW TEMPERATURE EXPERIMENT. THE CONTROL UNIT MAINLY CONSISTS OF A PERSONAL COMPUTER. FOR TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT BY THE CARBON RESISTOR, THE THERMOELECTROMOTIVE FORCE WAS CORRECTED BY REVERSING THE POLARITY OF THE EXCITING CURRENT AND THE AVERAGED VALUE WAS RECORDED AS THE EXPERIMENTAL DATA. THE RELAY SWITCHING CIRCUIT WAS USED FOR THE ABOVE PROCESS. FOR THE WARMING AND COOLING OF THE MEASURED SAMPLE, THE PROGRAMMABLE CURRENT SOURCE WAS USED IN THIS SYSTEM.
