Automation diagram of a compound refrigerating plant equipped with a proportional-integral superheat control system, for the vapour at the outlet of a compound vessel is described. With this system a low superheat can be controlled with great accuracy. The system ensures reliable and cost-effective operation of the plant. C.C.
