HAVING EXAMINED CASES WHERE COLD ACCUMULATION IS INDISPENSABLE AND THE WAYS OF ACHIEVING IT, THE PROPERTIES OF EUTECTIC SOLUTIONS ARE STUDIED BY MEANS OF PHASE DIAGRAMS FOR DIFFERENT SYSTEMS: BINARY SYSTEMS WITH DIFFERING MISCIBILITY, TOTAL OR NON-EXISTENT LIQUID OR SOLID PHASES ; TERNARY THE THERMAL EFFECTS CAUSED BY LIQUID-SOLID CHANGES AND THEIR INVERSE OF BINARY SYSTEMS ARE STUDIED FROM THE EXAMPLE OF A GIVEN COUPLE. THE PECULIARITIES OF LIQUID-SOLID TRANSITION ARE STATED AND THE PROBLEMS RAISED DURING COLD ACCUMULATION OR DISPOSAL BY EUTECTICS ARE CONSIDERED. AN EXAMPLE OF THERMAL ACCUMULATION-DISPOSAL IS GIVEN.
