Summary

STRAWBERRY RUNNER PLANTS WERE STORED 57 TO 96 DAYS AT 273-274 K (0-1 DEG C). THE RESULTS MADE IT POSSIBLE TO DETERMINE THE LIFTING PERIOD DURING GROWING. IT IS IN MARCH-APRIL, QUALITATIVE LOSSES ARE THEN LOWER THAN 14%. THE HIGHEST RESERVES OF SOLUBLE GLUCIDES ARE LOCATED IN THE ROOTS (2.93%) OF RUNNER PLANTS HARVESTED BETWEEN MARCH 16 AND 29. THE PERCENTAGE OF STRIKING OF COOLED RUNNER PLANTS RANGES BETWEEN 78 AND 100%.
