BOILING HEAT TRANSFER ON OUTSIDE OF HORIZONTAL TUBE BUNDLES.

Summary
TESTS AND STUDIES WERE CARRIED OUT ON HEAT TRANSFER DURING BOILING OUTSIDE A HORIZONTAL TUBE BUNDLE. TWO TYPES OF TUBES (SMOOTH TUBE AND ENHANCED TUBE) WERE TESTED AS A SINGLE TUBE AND A TUBE BUNDLE. THE TEST RESULTS FOR THE SMOOTH TUBE BUNDLE SHOWED THE SIGNIFICANT EFFECT OF TWO-PHASE FLOW THROUGH THE TUBE BUNDLE ON BOILING HEAT TRANSFER. IN ADDITION, A METHOD WAS DEVELOPED FOR PREDICTING HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT IN BOILING OUTSIDE THE TUBE BUNDLE.
