Summary

A NEW MORE COMPACT AND SIMPLER ICE-CUBE MAKER HAS BEEN DEVELOPED BY A JAPANESE COMPANY WHICH HAS BEEN AWARDED A TECHNICAL PRIZE BY THE JAPANESE ASSOCIATION OF REFRIGERATION. THE ICE-CUBE MAKER HAS A SPECIAL FEATURE OF ICE MAKING STRUCTURE. POLYMER INSERTIONS AND ALUMINIUM CYLINDERS, SEPARATED INTO MANY POCKETS, ARE MUTUALLY ASSEMBLED IN VERTICAL. IN ADDITION, HOT GAS CYCLE LET ICE CUBES FALL DOWN EFFECTIVELY THROUGH THE POLYMER INSERTION. AT PRESENT, FOUR VARIATIONS ARE LINED UP FROM 25 KG/DAY TO 60 KG/DAY IN ICE MAKING CAPACITY. AND THE OTHER CAPACITY CAN BE EASILY MADE CHANGING THE NUMBER OF CYLINDER/INSERTION UNITS.
