Bubble pump design for single pressure absorption refrigeration cycles.

Summary

A model has been developed for the design and optimization of a small bubble pump to be used in a single pressure absorption refrigeration cycle to lift the working fluid mixture against gravity and overcome flow friction. This analytical model was developed from two-phase flow fundamentals and incorporates the design parameters of the bubble pump. Parametric studies are carried out and design optimization for maximum efficiency was performed for various operating conditions.
