Summary
The article is devoted to the buffer tank in a cold water system, and in particular to its function as protection against excessive switching on and off of the refrigeration compressor. It is for this purpose that the buffer is usually used. The author finds that it might be possible to use the buffer to keep the water temperature in the system somewhat more constant.
