AFTER REVIEWING THE PARAMETERS DEFINING FINNED COILS, THE ESTIMATION OF THE PERFORMANCE OF A COIL IS MADE ON THE BASIS OF DRY AIR TREATMENT, THEN OF HUMID AIR DOWN TO 278 K (5 DEG C) AND BELOW 278 K. KNOWLEDGE OF THE PERFORMANCE IS THEN EXTENDED TO THAT OF COMPLETE DEVICES AND LEADS TO RELATIONS EXPRESSING THE POWER OF THE DEVICE AS A FUNCTION OF A TEMPERATURE COL THESE RELATIONS MAKE ITPOSSIBLE TO ANALYSE THE EVOLVING PROFILE OF AIR TEMPERATURE, TO DETERMINE THE PERFORMANCE OF STANDARD DEVICES AND TO PREDICT THE CONDITIONS OF THERMAL EQUILIBRIUM WITH THE COMPRESSORS.
