Calculation of refrigerant properties by linear interpolation of bidimensional meshes.

Summary

This paper presents a methodology to generate pure refrigerant and refrigerant mixtures property maps, using the NIST REFPROP database and its later use by means of interpolation functions, which allows calculations in the entire working range, with good precision and speed. The application of the proposed methodology makes it possible to generate property maps for saturated liquid, saturated vapour, subcooled liquid and superheated vapour.
