Summary

THE TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCIES OF THE ELECTRIC RESISTIVITY ALONG THE C AXIS AND IN THE BASAL PLANE WERE STUDIED ON THESE SINGLE CRYSTALS OF DIFFERENT DEGREES OF PERFECTION AND WITH VARYING CONTENTS OF OXYGEN. IT IS SHOWN THAT THE CONDUCTIVITY ALONG THE C AXIS CAN VARY FROM METALLIC TO A JUMP-LIKE ONE AS A FUNCTION OF OXYGEN CONTENT.
