Summary
A NEW, SURER METHOD OF EARLY DETECTION OF LEAKS IS DESCRIBED WHICH IS ESPECIALLY SUITED FOR CERTAIN SMALL INSTALLATIONS. HERE, THE INSTALLATION IS PERIODICALLY PUMPED OUT WITH ITS OWN COMPRESSOR ; THE LIQUID LEVEL IS THEN CHECKED ON THE HIGH PRESSURE SIDE, AND IF IT DOES NOT REACH THE REQUIRED LEVEL, AN ALARM GOES OFF. SUCH DEVICES ARE FOR BOTH NEW INSTALLATIONS AND OLD ONES BEING REFITTED. M. C.
