Summary
An experimental study of the performance of an air-to-air heat exchanger on the basis of a collector heat pipe has been carried out to investigate its behaviour under different operating conditions. R113 is used as the working fluid. A thermal calculation method for the heat exchanger on the basis of a collector heat pipe is developed. The theoretical results fit in with the experimental results.
