CHARACTERISTICS OF THERMAL DESIGNING A SUBCOOLED SUPERFLUID HELIUM REFRIGERATOR.

Author(s) : ZHENG J.

Summary

PROBLEMS RELATED TO THE THERMAL DESIGN OF A HELIUM II REFRIGERATOR AT A PRESSURE OF 101 KILOPASCALS ARE STUDIED. THE METHODS DETERMINING THE MAIN PARAMETERS OF THE COOLING SYSTEM ARE PRESENTED. BECAUSE OF THE CHANGE IN THE PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF HELIUM BETWEEN 4.2 AND 1.8 K THE THERMAL DESIGN CHARACTERISTICS OF THE HEAT EXCHANGER WITH HELIUM I ARE UNDERLINED.
