Summary

Under construction in the heart of Eindhoven, on the grounds of the former Heuvel Hospital is the "Heuvel Galerie", a complex that includes shops, restaurants and cafés, offices, housing, a parking lot and a music centre. The project, covering a total of nearly 100,000 m2, will give the centre of Holland's fifth city a new elan for the Nineties. The climate control of the various areas of the Heuvel Galerie constitutes a significant part of the project. Its design takes into account not only the amounts invested, but the operational, maintenance and energy expenses of both the future owner and the users of the project. This approach has resulted in several specific technical solutions.
